This is a first attempt at a new recipe: Amaretti cake, with amaretto laced mascarpone and fresh, sliced strawberries. Oh yes.
Bit heavy on the vanilla and needs a to be a bit lighter - I want it to be so light you barely know you've got cake in your mouth - but went down a treat if I say so myself.
